1. Who we are
Chill Flows is a social wellness community for mind, body, and soul practice, including Ayurvedic rituals, meditation, journaling, and peer support. By using Chill Flows you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Chill Flows. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and accounts found to belong to minors will be terminated.
3. Not medical advice
Chill Flows is a community and wellness platform. Content shared by members, practitioners, or our wellness companion (Dhatu) is for informational and reflective purposes only. It is NOT a substitute for qualified medical, psychological, or emergency care. Always consult a licensed professional for health concerns. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services.
3a. Physical practice and safety
Yoga flows, asana sequences, breathwork (pranayama), guided meditations, meal plans, and any other physical or dietary suggestions surfaced anywhere on Chill Flows are recommendations to be evaluated for your own body. Stop immediately if you feel sharp pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any unusual sensation. Consult your doctor before starting if you are pregnant, recovering from an injury or surgery, have cardiovascular issues, low blood pressure, glaucoma, recent eye surgery, or any chronic condition. The voice-guided yoga timer runs locally on your device and cannot detect your body's signals, you are responsible for adjusting intensity, taking breaks, and modifying or skipping any pose that doesn't feel safe.
4. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your password, your posts, and any activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your contact email current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you post on Chill Flows. By posting, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute your content solely to operate and improve the service. You can delete your content at any time, which revokes that license going forward.
5a. Direct messages
Direct messages are end-to-end private between the participants and not surfaced on public feeds. We store messages on our servers so they sync across devices and survive reinstalls. Messages may be reviewed by our trust & safety team only when explicitly reported by a participant under our Acceptable Use policy, we do not scan, train AI on, or sell DM contents. You can delete individual messages or your full DM history from Settings; deleted messages are removed from our active database within 24 hours.
5b. E-books and generated content
If you create an e-book using our generation tools, you own the resulting work and are free to publish, sell, or share it however you choose. You remain responsible for ensuring any text, quotes, or images you include don't infringe a third party's copyright. Chill Flows takes no royalty on works you create with these tools and claims no editorial control over the output.
6. Acceptable use
Don't harass, threaten, or dox other members. Don't post content that's illegal, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or designed to defraud. Don't try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the platform. We use both automated and human moderation, repeat or severe violations will result in account termination.
7. Donations and payments
Donations are submitted as Venmo / Zelle manual claims. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable once processed. Supporter tier badges (🌊 Supporter, 🌿 Patron, 🔆 Benefactor) are earned based on lifetime processed donation total and may be revoked for chargebacks, fraud, or terminated accounts.
7a. Event tickets and host tips
Paid event tickets and host tips are processed through Stripe Checkout. Chill Flows takes a 3% platform fee on ticket sales; tips are 100% pass-through to the host (less Stripe's standard processing fees). All ticket and tip charges are final and refundable solely at the discretion of the event host, Chill Flows is not a party to ticket-purchase agreements and does not mediate disputes between buyers and hosts. If an event is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed, refund decisions are the host's responsibility; reach out to the host directly via the event page. Chargebacks initiated through Stripe may result in your account being suspended pending investigation. Tickets are non-transferable unless the host explicitly permits transfer at the door. Hosts are responsible for collecting any applicable sales tax and complying with their local laws governing ticketed events.
7a-bis. Events, attendees, and host conduct, disclaimer of responsibility
Chill Flows is a listing and ticketing platform only. We do NOT organize, host, produce, supervise, or attend any event listed on the platform. Events are independently organized and run by their hosts; attendees are independent individuals not vetted, screened, or background-checked by Chill Flows. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Chill Flows, its owners, employees, and contractors are NOT responsible for and disclaim all liability for: (a) the content, quality, safety, legality, or cancellation of any event; (b) any act, omission, statement, injury, harassment, theft, property damage, illness, or other harm caused by an event host, instructor, performer, vendor, or attendee before, during, or after an event; (c) any interaction between users that begins on or is facilitated by the platform but occurs off-platform; and (d) compliance with venue rules, local laws, permits, insurance, or health/safety regulations governing the event. You attend events at your own risk. Hosts are solely responsible for the conduct and safety of their events. If you experience harm at an event, contact local emergency services and law enforcement; you may also report the host or attendee to us via Settings → Report so we can review their continued use of the platform, but Chill Flows is not a guarantor of attendee safety and offers no event-related insurance, indemnity, or compensation.
7b. Host payout onboarding (Stripe Connect)
Hosts who sell paid tickets or accept tips must complete Stripe Express onboarding (identity verification, tax info, and a connected bank account). Onboarding is hosted by Stripe, Chill Flows never sees or stores bank, ID, or tax details. Until onboarding is complete, ticket sales and tips for that host's events are paused. Earnings are paid out by Stripe on Stripe's standard schedule (typically 2 business days after the event for new accounts; varies by country). Chill Flows does not hold host funds; we only display balance and transaction summaries reflected from Stripe.
7c. Music and merch storefront
Songs, albums, and merchandise purchased through Chill Flows are processed by Stripe Checkout. Digital goods (songs, albums, e-books) are delivered immediately on payment and are non-refundable except where required by law, once a song is in your library, the transaction is complete. Physical merchandise refund and shipping policies are set by the seller and shown at checkout. We don't store payment-card details; Stripe handles all card data under its own terms.
8. Third-party services
We use trusted processors to operate the service: Resend (transactional email) and Emergent-managed Google OAuth (optional login). Your interactions with these providers are governed by their own terms.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your public content may be removed, though anonymized aggregate data (e.g. supporters wall totals) may be retained.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Chill Flows is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Chill Flows is a platform, it does not produce, host, or attend events, and is not responsible for events listed on the platform, the conduct of event hosts or attendees, or any harm arising from in-person meetings, classes, retreats, or events that members organize through or discover on Chill Flows (see Section 7a-bis for the full event disclaimer). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
